Summer Internships Seminar Series Contact Information

Due to program infrastructure constraints, the MNCAM summer internship program is no longer active. Thank you for your interest and support of CAM and the MNCAM mission. Please read on for a descriptin of our current program.

The Minnesota Consortium for CAM Clinical Research offers short-term paid summer internships for post-baccalaureate students in health professional fields. Interns gain an opportunity to experience first-hand the CAM clinical research process. Interns also meet as a group for seminars giving an overview of clinical research in CAM. Interns are expected to spend 10 weeks (exact length dependent on graduate school schedule) for 30 hours a week on the project with which they are placed.

CAM research topics include:
– Mind-body medicine
– Biologically based practices (botanicals)
– Manipulative and body-based practice.

Internship stipends are made available by a grant from the National Center for Complementary Medicine (NCCAM) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
